Convertible ("the app") is designed to respect your privacy. This policy explains what we do — and, more importantly, what we don't do — with your data.
Convertible converts files entirely on your Mac. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never transmitted over the network, and never stored anywhere other than your own computer. We have no access to any file you convert, at any time, for any reason.
Convertible does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app does not require an account. It does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party data collection tools.
If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, macOS may deliver anonymized crash reports to us through Apple's MetricKit framework. These reports are handled entirely by Apple's privacy-respecting infrastructure and contain no file contents or personal data. You can opt out at any time in System Settings.
Convertible also writes local crash logs to ~/Library/Logs/Convertible/ on your Mac. These logs never leave your computer unless you manually attach them to a bug report email.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store or StoreKit. We never see your payment information. Apple handles all transaction data according to its own privacy policy.
The only network activity Convertible initiates is purchase verification through Apple's StoreKit framework. The app is fully functional offline after purchase.
